With a strong commitment to collaborative delivery models and a focus on community engagement, Chandos is an ideal fit for a skilled estimator who can lead their estimating team to success.

About the Role

The Chief Estimator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all estimating functions, ensuring the overall performance, leadership, and effectiveness of the estimating team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the estimating team to deliver high-quality estimates on time and within budget
  • Developing and implementing estimating strategies and procedures
  • Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely estimates
  • Mentoring and coaching team members to improve their estimating skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Chief Estimator will require:

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction estimating
  • A degree or technical diploma in Engineering or Construction Technology
  • Strong knowledge of estimation methods and techniques
  • Effective verbal, writing, and interpersonal communication skills
