About the Opportunity

This leadership role offers a significant opportunity to influence the growth and direction of the branch. You will have exclusive access to the national group of Chief Estimators within the Chandos Group, providing opportunities for the exchange of ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and direct all estimating functions
  • Provide management, support, and assistance to the estimating team
  • Ensure accuracy and leadership in estimating to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace
  • Lead the estimating team to achieve business objectives

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or industrial construction
  • 10+ years of experience with larger complex project estimates
  • Degree or technical diploma in Engineering or Construction Technology
  • Designated Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) and/or Construction Estimator Certified (CEC) is ideal
  • Strong knowledge of estimation methods and techniques
  • Strong knowledge of construction management budgeting, design-build, and lump-sum tenders
  • Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Good client service and public interaction skills
  • Customer-focused with effective verbal, writing, and interpersonal communication skills
