About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Education, Outdoor Education, and Experiential Education Specialist to join our team at the First Nation School Board - Yukon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement physical education and outdoor education programs that promote student engagement and well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate outdoor education and experiential learning into the curriculum.
  • Design and lead outdoor education and experiential education programs that align with the school's goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, teachers, and staff on outdoor education and experiential learning best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations to support outdoor education and experiential learning initiatives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, outdoor education, experiential education).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in physical education, outdoor education, or experiential education.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful outdoor education and experiential education programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
