About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Operations Engineer to join our team at Allergan. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for driving production productivity improvement through yield enhancement, waste reduction, and cycle-time optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technical Operations and Engineering, to design and implement process improvements.
  3. Lead troubleshooting activities and ensure timely closure of investigations and Corrective Action Preventative (CAPA) actions.
  4. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with company policies, objectives, and results.
  5. Ensure accountability and commitment to achieving goals of continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  6. Review and update manufacturing documentation to meet current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and safety standards.
  7. Conduct training for relevant personnel on procedures and best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with a Master's Degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or industrial manufacturing, with a strong understanding of GxP requirements and regulations.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to quickly understand products and processes.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  5. Good planning and scheduling skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
