About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen at Season of Tuxedo. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
    • Hire and manage food service staff, including scheduling, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work to resolve issues promptly.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, customer feedback, and other key performance indicators.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Food Safety Certificate.
    • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
