Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mrs. R Bakery Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Establish work schedules.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods is required, and the job is physically demanding.
