About the Role

Brandt is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Division Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability across multiple branches in the Northern British Columbia Area, based out of Prince George.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute annual budgets for branches within your area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Sales Growth and Profitability: Achieve sales growth and profitability targets across all departments, including whole goods, parts, service, and administration.
  • Asset Management: Manage and optimize inventory levels to achieve sales and market share goals, while protecting company assets.
  • Leadership and Development: Foster a motivated and successful workforce by managing and developing all employees within the division.
  • Performance Evaluation: Establish targets for managers and evaluate their performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Market Share and Competitive Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions and drive long-term success.
  • Account Receivables: Collaborate with the Director of Credit Services to manage division account receivables.
  • Branch Visits: Regularly visit assigned branches to provide leadership and supervision.
  • Supplier Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Event Coordination: Participate in events, including customer fly-ins, open-houses, and recruitment events.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry, with a minimum of 5 years in management and/or business operations.
  • Education: Degree or diploma with a business focus is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong financial understanding, cost management, business planning, and goal setting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, lead by example, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Travel: Must hold and maintain a valid passport, as travel is required for this role.
