The Simcoe County District School Board seeks a highly skilled and organized Support Services Manager to oversee the main office functions for our elementary schools. This is a full-time, permanent position with an estimated salary of $65,000-$85,000 per year.

Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the administrative team meets timelines by prioritizing tasks, coordinating duties, and providing exceptional support to both internal and external individuals.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • a secondary school diploma;
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • outstanding organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills;
  • advanced skills in various software applications, e.g., MS Office;
  • the ability to adapt to changing situations in the workplace;
  • the ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • the ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • the ability to maintain confidentiality;

Beyond the required qualifications, we prefer candidates with knowledge of Simcoe County District School Board Policies, Administrative Procedures Memoranda, and Numbered Memoranda, as well as experience working in a school environment.
