At Sinai Health, we are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to support our Medical/Neuro Complex Care and Reconditioning Service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, formulating diagnoses, and developing comprehensive plans of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, intervention, monitoring, and follow-up for a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Integrate best practices and evidence into clinical practice, providing exemplary quality care through the application of advanced clinical and theoretical knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with members of the Interprofessional Team in coordinating and providing care for patients.
  • Utilize skilled communication with patients, families, healthcare providers, and partners to support coordinated, compassionate care.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration in the Extended Class (EC) as an NP-Adult or NP-Primary Health Care required.
  • Master's in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) or Master's in Nursing with successful completion of a post-Master's Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program from a recognized school of graduate studies required.
  • 5 years of relevant acute care or post-acute experience in the inpatient setting (e.g. medicine, medical surgical nursing, intensive care, complex continuing care).
