At Tim Hortons, we are seeking a skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead our team and drive restaurant success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine operational strategies and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity;
  • Manage cash handling, balance sheets, and financial reports to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies;
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to employees to enhance their skills and knowledge;
  • Maintain inventory levels and manage stockroom operations to minimize waste and maximize profitability;
  • Evaluate and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members;
  • Foster strong relationships with customers through effective communication and conflict resolution skills;
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily restaurant operations to meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience);
  • Minimum 7 months of experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably in a leadership role;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods; and
  • Fluency in English language.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
