Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Support Representative to join our team at Roche. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic equipment, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide service support to assigned customers, including standby rotation for after-hours support.
  • Assist Technical Support Specialists, Lab Integration, and selected Technical Support Representatives in providing solutions to improve customer support.
  • Participate in service meetings and back-up other Support Representatives during heavy workload.
  • Perform instrumentation QC in head office and prepare instrument shipment as per Service Coordination request.
  • Complete technical service bulletins on assigned customers, adhering to Roche Diagnostics Canada guidelines and timelines.
  • Manage authorized car stock and service tools, following Roche Diagnostics Canada recommendations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Diploma of collegial studies in electronic technology or community college Specialty in BioMedical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of instrument computer, laptop, and personal computer, as well as Windows and common Office programs.
  • 2-3 years of service experience in diagnostics instrumentation troubleshooting (a plus).
  • Availability to work on standby and flexibility to travel.
  • Minimum knowledge of IT systems & Network infrastructure.
