Employment and Labour Litigation Assistant

Our client, a leading employment and labour law firm representing employers, is seeking an experienced Employment and Labour Legal Assistant to support their team.

About the Role:

  • Perform legal assistant, clerical, and administrative duties for 2-3 lawyers
  • Assist in preparing briefs and records for trials and hearings, ensuring electronic formatting complies with online court filing system specifications
  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with the firm's practice and file management policies and procedures
  • Monitor, file, and triage lawyers' emails, responding to urgent client matters as directed
  • Enter dockets and expense claims

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in employment and labour law
  • Legal Secretarial Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
