Job Title: Transportation and Volunteer Administrator

Family and Children's Services Niagara is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Transportation and Volunteer Administrator. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the volunteer department, ensuring efficient and timely operations, and enhancing the work of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation Scheduling: Coordinate requests for assignment and assign volunteer drivers to drive children and their families to medical appointments, agency appointments, supervised visits, and other activities, ensuring client needs and cost effectiveness in assignments.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including processing volunteer applications, data entry, minute taking, and distribution of confidential and sensitive information pertaining to volunteers.
  • Data Maintenance: Create and maintain electronic and manual filing and tracking systems, retrieve information, and keep confidential records.
Requirements:
  • Secondary School Diploma: Required.
  • Experience Working with Volunteers: An asset.
  • Current Car Seat Technician Certification: Required.
  • Valid G Driver's License and Access to a Reliable Motor Vehicle: Required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good Ability to Use MS Office Applications: Required.
  • Good Written, Oral Communication, and Interpersonal Skills: Required.
  • Ability to Complete Tasks with Attention to Detail: Required.
