Job SummaryWe are seeking a Community Health Nurse to join our team. As a Community Health Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing services to First Nations communities, promoting health, preventing disease, and protecting population health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide core nursing functions and services in community, public health, primary care, and home care settings.
- Work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to promote health and prevent disease.
- Travel to various communities across the province to provide nursing services.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP).
- Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
- Understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols.
- Knowledge of nursing processes.
- Experience in public health, home care nursing, or community health (1-2 years).
