Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled DZ driver to operate a heavy-duty truck on transfer routes, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of waste management services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a heavy-duty truck in accordance with OSHA and DOT regulations, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, documenting any issues for corrective review.
  • Report any unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch.
  • Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required.
  • Work closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
  • Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.
  • Notify Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
  • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager.
  • Position containers on customer property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
  • Follow route assignments throughout the day and complete all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route.

Requirements:

  • Hold a current DZ or Class 3 license or higher.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
  • Have an acceptable driving record.
