Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled DZ driver to operate a heavy-duty truck on transfer routes, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of waste management services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a heavy-duty truck in accordance with OSHA and DOT regulations, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, documenting any issues for corrective review.
  • Communicate with Route Managers and Dispatch to improve route efficiency and address any issues.
  • Participate in scheduled training and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with Route Managers to identify problem accounts and improve service delivery.
  • Notify Route Managers of any incidents, accidents, or property damage.
  • Complete customer tickets and submit excess yardage reports as required.
  • Position containers on customer properties to ensure proper placement and accessibility.
  • Follow route assignments and complete all documentation at the end of each route.

Requirements:

  • Valid DZ or Class 3 license or higher.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid SIN.
  • Acceptable driving record required.
  • Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
