Dining Room Assistant

At BC Ltd. DBA BarBurrito, we are looking for a skilled Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment where you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
About the RoleWe are seeking an individual who is able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be proficient in using manual and electrical appliances to clean and prepare food products.
Key Responsibilities- Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients, ensuring they are properly stored and labeled
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as needed
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
- Handle and store cleaning products in a safe and secure manner
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the area remains clean and tidy
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as required
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Prior experience in a similar role or related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and lifting
- A competitive estimated salary of $38,000 - $45,000 per year, based on experience and location
