At Choice Homecare, we are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, preferably in a related field, and relevant experience working in home care and visiting care settings. A proven track record of providing compassionate and personalized care to patients with varying needs is essential.

We are looking for someone who is physically fit and able to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods, lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and bending, crouching, or kneeling. The ability to work under pressure, handle repetitive tasks, and maintain attention to detail is also crucial.

In this role, you will be responsible for supplying and emptying bed pans, taking patients' vital signs, serving meal trays, and assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also supervise patients' exercise routines, maintain inventory of supplies, and transport patients as needed.

A First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate are required for this position. If you have excellent oral communication skills, a client-focused approach, and a strong sense of dependability, initiative, and judgement, we encourage you to apply.
