Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Professional - Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Longfields Pharmacy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and mental health, identifying diseases and injuries, and ordering laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as necessary.
  • Medication Management: Prescribe and administer medications, monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
  • Health Education: Provide patients and their families with comprehensive health education, empowering them to manage their conditions effectively.
  • Clinical Decision Making: Use critical thinking skills to make informed decisions regarding patient care, consulting with other medical professionals as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Doctorate degree in Medicine or a related field.
  • Current licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
