Job Overview

Tenaquip, a leading Canadian company in the industrial marketplace, seeks an experienced professional to fill the role of Inventory Management Coordinator. This position involves implementing new vendor managed agreements at customer sites and replenishing shop supplies through automated dispensing machines or other forms of vendor managed inventory.

Responsibilities
  • Implement new vendor managed agreements by organizing shop supply rooms, creating labels, installing vending machines, and providing on-site assistance relating to products and equipment;
  • Replenish shop supplies through automated dispensing machines or other forms of vendor managed inventory;
  • Act as Tenaquip's sales liaison when on site, ensuring seamless communication with customers and sales teams;
  • Perform physical inventory counts and make adjustments when necessary, maintaining accurate records and reports;
  • Operate vending machine software and scanning equipment, ensuring efficient inventory management and reporting;
  • Maintain vending machines, performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance;
  • Follow up on sales requests and enter quotes, driving sales growth and revenue increase;
Qualifications and Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a related field such as logistics or supply chain management;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management;
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and other relevant software applications;
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and technical abilities, with the capacity to adapt to changing situations and priorities;
  • Product knowledge is an asset, but not required; a willingness to learn and develop expertise in our product lines;
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are essential for this role;
  • The ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision, and excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
