Job Title: Civil Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Technologist to join our Municipal Infrastructure team in the Lethbridge Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing general project duties, developing and reviewing civil engineering design drawings, and preparing cost estimates and contract documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general project duties under the supervision of a Senior Engineer or Technologist
  • Develop, prepare and review civil engineering design drawings and coordinate with the engineering Design Team
  • Prepare cost estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
  • Member or eligibility for membership in ASET
  • 3-5 years of municipal civil engineering experience, including but not limited to the design of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, stormwater management systems, and site grading
  • Show an aptitude of general construction methods
  • Strong presentation, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Civil3D software
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
