Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Advisor to join our team at Teck. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing oversight and mentorship for our Leadership Development and Business Education programs.

This role will involve developing, recommending, and leading internal Teck programs, as well as facilitating access to external resources to support the changing needs of our operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of organizational development and a proven track record of delivering effective training and development programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Leadership Development and Business Education programs
  • Provide oversight and mentorship for program development and delivery
  • Facilitate access to external resources and training opportunities
  • Collaborate with leaders and Human Resources generalists to support employee development
  • Establish positive communication and build relationships with internal and external partners

Requirements:

  • Relevant post-secondary education in Human Resources management, organizational development, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in a Human Resources role, including working with employee development in a large, dynamic organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
