We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Care Coordinator to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing overall leadership and management of our long term care neighborhood.
Key Responsibilities- Resident Care and Programs: Plan, organize, and lead the overall operation of the long term care neighborhood, ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations, as well as Sunrise Senior Living standards and policies.
- Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the community follows all relevant laws and regulations, striving for excellent quality care and service delivery as measured in the Quality Service Review (QSR) process.
- Financial Management: Assist in the presentation and value of Sunrise's products and services, manage the department budget, and implement plans of action around deficiencies.
- Training, Leadership, and Team Member Development: Overall management of the department, including recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, coaching, and disciplining team members.
- One (1) year experience preferred in assisted living long term care or hospital industries or experience/exposure to the senior population.
- College degree and management experience may be required per provincial requirements.
- One (1) year supervisory and management experience, including hiring staff, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, discipline, and counseling.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, delegate assignments, and facilitate small group presentations.
- Competent in organizational and time management skills, with good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrates proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), and Sunrise applications, with the ability to learn new applications.
