The Role

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented LMS Content Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Product team, you will be responsible for maintaining learning content and assets for our Upskill product.

Your primary focus will be on uploading and updating training materials, managing asset libraries, and ensuring seamless delivery of training content to our end users.

You will also support our in-house Product team in managing the Learning Management System (LMS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Management: Upload and format learning content and assets in the LMS, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Course Development: Create and manage course templates in LMS environments, working closely with our Product team.
  • Asset Library Management: Maintain image, video, and captioning asset libraries, ensuring easy access and organization.
  • Transcript and Caption Workflow: Manage the transcript and caption workflow, including processing orders, proofreading, and uploading.
  • Image Optimization: Edit and optimize images for LMS upload, ensuring high-quality visual content.
  • LMS Access Management: Manage internal LMS access and SCORM dispatches, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of Upskill content.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports as needed for learner and course analytics, providing insights for our Product team.
  • Quality Assurance: Act as quality assurance monitor for Fable's LMS, reporting bugs and unexpected errors.
  • Support and Maintenance: Support the Product team in QA work, technical support, and general LMS maintenance.
  • Process Documentation: Create and maintain process documentation, ensuring clear procedures for our team.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication, foster innovation, and drive success.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two or more years' experience using e-learning software and Learning Management Systems professionally.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with Content Management Systems and/or authoring tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for editing and proofreading.
  • Time Management: Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and independent worker, with a strong sense of accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with web accessibility and WCAG, as well as experience with assistive technology and/or assistive technology users.
