Project Engineer Job Description

Peter Lucas Project Management Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to provide technical guidance and leadership on various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are met.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, address technical issues, and ensure compliance with industry codes and regulations.
  • Prepare reports and forecasts, and manage resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining or construction industries.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation /Electrical/Mechanical.
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft Suite, including MS Project.
  • Knowledgeable with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and meet project deadlines.
