About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at West Parry Sound Health Centre. As a key member of our acute care unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and families in the acute care setting
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough physical assessments, health teaching, and clinical decision making
  • Utilize various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs
  • Ensure excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Requirements
  • Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Demonstrated expertise in physical assessment, health teaching, and clinical decision making
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and community resources
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs
  • Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • A.C.L.S. Certification, P.A.L.S. Certification, NRP Certification
  • Previous experience in Nursing Skills pertinent to Acute Care Nursing (IV starts, Wound care, Ostomy care)
