Job Title: Farm Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Operations Supervisor to join our team at Johmay Farms Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and maintaining the highest standards of farm safety and bio-security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the farm, including crop management and livestock care.
  • Ensure the health and well-being of our livestock, including monitoring animal health and administering medication as needed.
  • Maintain the highest standards of farm safety and bio-security, including developing and implementing safety procedures and protocols.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
  • Provide agricultural crop services, including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.
  • Maintain livestock performance records.
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
  • Maintain work records and logs.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • Perform general farm duties.
  • Track and report on current feed inventory.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in farm operations or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Large workload.
