Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Columbia St. Liquor Store Inc.
Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance.
- Assign tasks and duties to sales workers, ensuring efficient store operations and meeting sales targets.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable team.
- Oversee the ordering and receipt of merchandise, ensuring timely delivery and effective stock management.
- Authorize returns of merchandise, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Establish work schedules, balancing employee needs with business requirements and demands.
- Sell merchandise, promoting products and services to customers, and meeting sales targets.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights for business growth and improvement.
- Resolve issues promptly, addressing customer complaints, supply shortages, and other challenges that may arise.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and optimal product display.
This is a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements- A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required, and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
