About the Role:

Cambridge Memorial Hospital seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by performing various treatments and procedures, assessments, monitoring, and documenting changes in patients' conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
  • Assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Registration in good standing
  • RPN Diploma or equivalent required
  • Current CPR certificate required
  • Excellent physical assessment skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum one-year recent medical/surgical/mental health experience within a hospital setting
