A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAREGIVER SPECIALIST

As a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) under the supervision of the Home Care Aide Staffing Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the carrying out of a client plan of care. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Receiving and carrying out daily patient assignments
2. Collecting patient and family data and reporting findings to supervisor
3. Performing interventions and procedures as directed to ensure the safe effective quality of care for patients
4. Performing a variety of patient care tasks including activities of daily living, collection of vital signs, ambulation/exercises, homemaking, etc.
5. Effectively communicating clinical information-both verbally and in writing-to patients, their representatives, and home care staff, ensuring timely and appropriate reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have prior home care and/or hospice experience preferred
• Hold a valid state driver's license, vehicle, and automobile insurance; ability to successfully pass pre-employment driver record, criminal, adult, and child abuse background check/review required
