Humber River Health is seeking a skilled Registered Ultrasound Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of ultrasound duties, including abdomen, O.B./gyn., small parts, vascular Doppler, MSK, and breast exams. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and assessing patients for ultrasound exams, completing exam processes, and presenting results to radiologists for reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all general ultrasound duties, including abdomen, O.B./gyn., small parts, vascular Doppler, MSK, and breast exams.
  • Prepare and assess patients for ultrasound exams, including confirming exam validity based on history provided.
  • Complete exam processes, including image review, completing sonographer's impression sheet, confirming documentation, and presenting results to radiologists for reporting.
Requirements:
  • Must be registered or in the process of obtaining registration and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Must have Personal Liability Insurance (PLI).
  • Accredited college diploma preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with all aspects of ultrasound preferred.
  • Previous US experience within a hospital setting preferred.
  • Strong documentation skills required.
  • Excellent knowledge of anatomy required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a group environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have good teamwork and customer service skills.
  • Excellent attendance and discipline-free record required.
