Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at Boeing Canada. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and modifying aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Oversee assembly, disassembly, or overhaul. Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements. Oversee training.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience required, preferred on CH47 platform.
  • Must have one of the following: Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Avionics Technician (AME-E) licensed or Military equivalent.
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.
  • Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment.
  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.
  • Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education.
  • Have successfully completed a formal, CH147 type training course related to their aviation specialty taught by an acceptable training organization.
  • Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force Electronic Record Keeping System (ERKS) or Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS).
  • Active Secret Level II Security Clearance.

Benefits:

  • Starting salary will be based on qualifications and experience. The range for this classification is $80,000-$93,000 annually.
  • This is a full-time opportunity that provides full company paid benefits, and a retirement savings plan.

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance Level II from the Canadian government.
