Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Wealth Management Associate Program. As a Wealth Management Associate, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in wealth advisory, financial planning, and sales.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a strong understanding of Scotiabank's Wealth Advisory businesses and Total Wealth Planning approach.
- Gain exposure to the wealth planning process and develop core financial planning skills.
- Work with wealth teams to gain relevant and practical experience.
- Develop strong relationship management skills and the ability to build and maintain strong collaborative client and internal/external partner relationships.
- Develop the ability to influence, persuade, and build consensus.
- Develop excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Completing an undergrad or master's degree by June 2025, or an experienced worker with a passion for client relationships and financial advice.
- A strong aspiration to build a career in a Wealth Advisory role.
- A curious, competitive, and critical thinker who thrives in change and collaborating with others.
- A sales and relationship-focused mindset.
- Exceptional relationship management skills.

- A comprehensive training program that will lead to the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) Designation/Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF).
- Opportunities within the Wealth Advisory businesses to gain exposure to how these areas apply to an overall wealth strategy for a client's life.
- Placement in a Scotiabank Wealth Management office to work with wealth teams.
- Ongoing support during the Program through various touch points with the Program Lead, Total Wealth Planning leaders, and your local Manager.
