Lead Carpenter

We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore of Northern NB. As a key member of our construction division, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of various projects and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of carpenters to complete construction projects on time and within budget.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
- Take measurements and calculate material needs to ensure accurate estimates.
- Supervise the cutting, shaping, and smoothing of lumber and other materials.
- Build and install window frames, doors, staircases, and other structures.
- Lay out flooring, roofing, and drywall, ensuring proper leveling and compatibility.
- Assemble and install furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items.
- Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely completion of projects.
- College diploma in a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in a lead carpenter role.
- Red Seal Carpenter Certification is an asset.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive hourly rate of $30.00.
