Job Title: Lead Carpenter

We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore of Northern NB. As a key member of our construction division, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of various projects and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of carpenters to complete construction projects on time and within budget
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements
  • Take measurements and calculate material needs to ensure accurate estimates
  • Supervise the cutting, shaping, and smoothing of lumber and other materials
  • Lay out flooring, roofing, and drywall, ensuring proper leveling and compatibility
  • Assemble and install furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items
  • Inspect work sites and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
  • Build scaffolding and other construction structures
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • College diploma in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Lead Carpenter
  • Red Seal Carpenter Certification an asset
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
