About the Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Dean of Western Law, a renowned institution known for its collegial atmosphere and inclusive student experience. As the senior academic officer, you will provide strategic direction, leadership in academic planning, and administrative oversight to ensure the highest standards in legal education and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership in academic planning to ensure the Faculty's continued excellence
  • Oversee the administration of the Faculty, including budget management and resource allocation
  • Foster an inclusive culture and mentor the next generation of lawyers and legal professionals
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled academic and administrative team to achieve the Faculty's goals
Requirements
  • Graduate degree at the Masters or PhD level and appointable at the rank of Full Professor
  • Dynamic financial and strategic management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to foster an inclusive culture and mentor students
  • Demonstrated reputation of integrity, empathy, and emotional intelligence
