Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at Egis Canada. As a key member of our Process Engineering Group, you will play a pivotal role in the design, optimization, and management of intricate processes.

With a strong background in chemical engineering principles, process simulation, and project management, you will be responsible for analyzing process data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance safety, productivity, and reduce environmental impact.

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and optimize production facilities, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising between clients and operations staff, equipment vendors, and third-party contractors in project planning and execution.
  • Conducting independent studies, operating data analyses, interpretations, and conclusions within the scope of various assigned projects.
  • Providing clear and concise communication and pro-active and independent recommendations to clients.
  • Coordinating completion of Process Engineering tasks and deliverables with other engineering disciplines within Egis.
  • Managing Process engineering personnel and providing oversight and mentoring through the execution of multiple client projects.

Requirements:

  • Chemical Engineering degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 15 years relevant experience.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with multi-disciplinary personnel and clients.
  • Previous comparable EPCM experience is considered an asset.
  • Field/Operational exposure and facility Troubleshooting experience is essential.
