About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Big Catch. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials.
  • Chef Management: Train and supervise a team of cooks to ensure that food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to our culinary team to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Skills: Proven track record of success in a senior culinary role, excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
