About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Transportation Infrastructure Development Lead to join our team in Toronto. This role will be responsible for overseeing model and drawing production, resource management, and quality control for transportation projects.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation infrastructure development, with experience in structural BIM modeling and project coordination. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the project team and clients to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage model and drawing production for transportation projects
- Oversee resource management and ensure timely delivery of projects
- Perform quality control checks on delivered models and drawings
- Collaborate with project team members and clients to resolve issues and improve project outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A 2-year diploma in engineering or architectural technology from an accredited technical school
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in transportation infrastructure development, preferably in the transportation or bridge sectors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Detailed knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD, with experience working with various geographic coordinate systems (GCS)
- Experience managing and training a BIM team
