Heavy Duty Mechanic Role
At First Student Canada-Transco, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with our vehicles
- Assist with mobile emergency services as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain necessary license
- Valid Red Seal Mechanic certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with heavy duty vehicles
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
- ASE incentive of $0.25/hour for each relevant ASE obtained
- Monday-Friday full-time shift
- Annual allowances for boots and prescription safety glasses
