**Job Summary**

Canada Heavy Equipment College is a registered educational facility with the Ministry Colleges and Universities (MCU). We provide Heavy Equipment and AZ/DZ certification at our training location in Cambridge, Ontario. Students are trained using realistic conditions, preparing them to be professional heavy equipment operators and truck drivers in the real world.

We are currently looking to hire a Heavy Equipment Instructor to add to our growing team. If you have the skills to be a Heavy Equipment Instructor for any of the equipment listed below, we want to talk to you Previous instructor experience is not required, we will train you
- Motor Grader
- Tractor Loader Backhoe
- Excavator
- Bulldozer

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Must have at least 10 years of diverse experience on multiple heavy equipment machines
- Applicable Certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous HEO Instruction experience an asset
- Instructional or Supervisory experience would be an asset

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Instruct, supervise and monitor student actions in all phases of training in compliance with program policy
- Demonstrate and explain handling and mechanical operation of motor vehicles and heavy equipment
- Instruct individuals on proper and safe operation of various pieces of heavy equipment
- Administration of student paperwork
- Coordinate and plan for daily instruction, efficiently utilizing equipment and students
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections of vehicles and appropriate documentation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

- motor grader operation: 10 years (required)
- excavator operation: 10 years (required)
- bulldozer operation: 10 years (required)
- tractor loader backhoe operation: 10 years (required)
