Job Description:

As an Industrial Coatings Technician at Schwartz Chemical Corporation, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality coatings for various industries. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring instruments on chemical formulation units, cleaning and maintaining the work space, measuring and loading chemical ingredients, recording production information, starting up, shutting down, and troubleshooting equipment, taking samples, and adjusting processing machines and equipment.

  • Oil-based or emulsion paints
  • Water-based paints

  • Adhesives
  • Explosives
  • Pulp and paper industry chemicals


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • A team player with manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Able to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
