Keltic Transportation Inc is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across Canada, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

About the Job

This long haul truck driving position involves operating a tractor-trailer unit to transport cargo from various locations within Canada. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 or A driver's license, as well as experience with straight or articulated trucks. You will be required to oversee the condition of your vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport goods across Canada, adhering to transportation regulations and company policies
  • Operate a tractor-trailer unit safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or A driver's license
  • Experience with straight or articulated trucks
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • FAST (Free and Secure Trade) Program certification
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
