We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at WRHA Community Health Services. As a Community Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing nursing care to clients in the community, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide independent nursing services to clients in their homes, schools, workplaces, or at a home care nursing clinic.
- Administer prescribed treatments and medications as required.
- Take a leadership role within the healthcare team and facilitate coordination of client care and discharge.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
- 2 years of related recent experience preferred.
- Satisfactory employment record required.
- CNA Community Health Nurses Certification or relevant applicable certification.
- Additional wound care and chronic disease management education.
- Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM).
- Good physical and mental health.
- Ability to work in a variety of community settings under varying weather and environmental conditions.
- Use of a reliable motor vehicle suitable for all environmental conditions.
- Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals in a professional and respectful manner.
- Be able to prioritize care for an individual or group(s) and delegate tasks as needed.
