Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Converting Set-up Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating converting equipment to produce high-quality packaging products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate converting equipment to produce packaging products
  • Ensure high-quality products are produced while maintaining efficient production processes
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with production team members to achieve production goals and objectives
  • Participate in quality control checks to ensure products meet customer specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety protocols
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a flexographic printing environment
  • Knowledge of converting bag machine operation is an asset
  • Leadership skills and ability to work independently and as a team
  • Excellent mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Good basic math skills and good verbal and written command of English
  • Troubleshooting skills and ability to work overtime as required
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
