About the Role

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to join our growing Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (CGRC) team. As a Cybersecurity Risk Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting and promoting a strong cybersecurity risk-aware culture within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide guidance on cybersecurity risks and ensure they are well understood, documented, and managed.
  • Support the initiation, design, and implementation phases of major projects to ensure security requirements are met.
  • Act as a solution enabler in a cybersecurity risk advisory role, fostering a "security-by-design" culture.
  • Conduct regular and recurring cybersecurity threat risk assessments on critical applications and IT infrastructure.
  • Identify and document cybersecurity risks to support stakeholders in determining and implementing mitigating measures.
  • Collaborate with the CGRC team to develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support various IT functions in identifying, developing, measuring, maintaining, and reporting on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent education and experience.
  • Technical designations such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in Information Technology, with at least 5+ years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices in IT Infrastructure, Application Development, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Big-Data.
  • Strong knowledge of common cybersecurity frameworks and threat modelling techniques.
  • Good mix of business and technical capabilities, with the ability to communicate complex cyber risk and issues to management.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
