Job Description

Our hybrid formula allows for a balance between remote work and the benefits of in-person interactions. Our expanding Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (CGRC) team is seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional, specialized in consulting and risk evaluation.

As a key player in major innovative projects and initiatives involving the company's core insurance platforms, key applications, and critical infrastructure, you will support the launch, design, and implementation phases of projects to ensure the company's security requirements are met and adequate controls are put in place.

You will play a key role in advising on cybersecurity risk to promote a "security by design" culture by formulating recommendations to architecture, IT, and information systems teams during the design of diagrams and architecture models.

You will also evaluate cybersecurity risks by conducting regular and recurring risk assessments of critical applications and infrastructure using qualitative or quantitative approaches to raise awareness of threats, vulnerabilities, gaps in control, and risks through detailed written reports.

You will support and track risks using the company's GRC tool and contribute to improving the workflow and configuration of the tool.

You will act as an expert to help various IT functions identify, develop, measure, maintain, and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices in IT infrastructure, application development, cloud computing (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), and artificial intelligence.
  • And threat modeling techniques (e.g., OCTAVE, Trike, PASTA, STRIDE, VAST, etc.).
  • Good balance of business and technical skills, and ability to communicate on current cybersecurity risks and problems to management in the context of their portfolio of activities.
  • Bilingual (French/English) - Need to interact regularly with colleagues across the country.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and be involved in multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines and responding to stakeholder expectations.
