Medical Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Range Lake Clinic.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This includes managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date files.
Key Responsibilities:- Interview patients to obtain case histories and maintain accurate records
- Manage and distribute incoming mail and other materials
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and efficient communication with patients and healthcare providers
- Train staff in procedures and software, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Complete insurance and other claim forms, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain a secure and organized filing system, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols
- Order supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient work environment
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines, promoting a culture of efficiency and productivity
- Enter and format medical reports and correspondence, preparing spreadsheets and documents for review
- Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Perform data entry, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Basic security clearance and criminal record check
- Own transportation and ability to travel as required
