Retail Store Manager

Georgie's Beer & Wine Store is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and coordinate the work of sales staff to ensure seamless customer service and efficient sales processes.
- Order Merchandise: Source and procure high-quality products to meet customer demands and maintain a well-stocked store.
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges in a fair and customer-centric manner.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal customer service.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional sales support to customers, promoting products and driving sales growth.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and motivate a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Work Setting: Retail business environment.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player.
