Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
    • Assist customers by promoting products and services, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions.
    • Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where appropriate.
  • Merchandise Management
    • Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing and pricing merchandise.
    • Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items, and maintain a safe work environment as per Company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory and Stocking
    • Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, administer required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
    • Stock merchandise/picks, downstock if applicable, apply product protection when required, set and complete modulars, including flex modulars, and set new shelf caps.
Requirements

  • Ability to Lift Up to 25 kg
